Palakad: A young man was caught with 2.55 kg of dried ganja during a ride conducted by Kuzhalmandam excise as part of Operation Thunder. Abhilash (35), a resident of Mathur Ampad, was arrested.
Kuzhalmandam Excise Inspector C.J. was standing in front of a two-wheeler workshop on Ampad Chungamandam Road. He was caught by a team led by Rinto. The two-wheeler used to smuggle ganja was also seized. Abhilash was produced in court and remanded in the case.
