Palakkad: The Chiturpuzha Bridge, which has completed its renovation work, will be opened for traffic on November 5. The work of the bridge has been completed in such a way as to solve the travel problem.

There was a strong demand from the locals for the immediate renovation of the bridge which had been dilapidated for years. Following this, the authorities took action.

Upgradation of the bridge is expected to provide a permanent solution to traffic congestion in the area. People's representatives and officials will participate in the ceremony to be held on November 5.
