Palakkad: The state-level inauguration of the second phase of 'Samagra - 2026', implemented by the Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation (KSBCDC), will be inaugurated by Minister for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes Welfare K.A. Thulasi on October 3 at 11 AM at the Kottail Convention Centre, Parali. Minister for General Education and Minority Welfare N. Shamsudeen will preside over the function.

The state-level distribution of the Priyadarshini Self-Employment Loan Scheme for women entrepreneurs in the MSME sector will be inaugurated by Member of Parliament V.K. Sreekandan. Microcredit loans will be distributed by MP K. Radhakrishnan, while educational loans will be distributed by MP M.P. Abdussamad Samadani. KSBCDC Managing Director Sabin Sameed will present the report. As part of the event, loans amounting to ₹100 crore will be distributed across the state through the Corporation's various loan schemes via offices statewide.

The event will be attended by local MLAs, BCDC Secretary Dr. Veena N. Madhavan, District Panchayat President S.B. Raju, District Collector K. Sudheer, BCDC Director D. Ranjith, Additional Secretary L. Shobha, Palakkad Block Panchayat President Bindu Krishnadas, Parali Grama Panchayat President K.T. Ushakumari, and BCDC Palakkad Manager Anit Jose, among others.
