A passenger was hit by a train and died at Pattamby railway station. The incident happened around 12 pm on Wednesday. Jaffer died at Malappuram Kolathur Kurumbalam Irasseri Palliyal, who had come to board the train from Pattambi Railway Station along with his friends to go to Thanjavur for a wedding. He is 49 years old. The group came to Pattambi to go from Pattambi to Thrissur and from there to Thanjavur. Those who were with him had crossed the rail and entered the second platform. Later, Jafar was crossing the track when the train hit the track. Then the police reached the spot and took action.
