Palakad: Lok Sabha Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi should resign first on SIR issue, BJP National Executive Committee member P.K. Krishnadas. He was answering the questions of Palakkad media.
It is up to him to decide whether Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar should resign or not. Krishnadas clarified that BJP has nothing to do with it. If we accept that SIR is wrong for the sake of argument, then the same people who voted through SIR and won the Prime Minister also won the opposition leader. So isn't his choice wrong? So Rahul should resign before Ganesh Kumar's resignation, he asked.
Ramesh Chennithala had said that UDF won because of SIR proceedings in Kerala. Chennithala's argument was that it was the SIR that prevented CPM from adding fake votes. Then Krishnadas mocked Rahul Gandhi, who argues that SIR is wrong, and says that the way his front was chosen in Kerala is also wrong and is ready to resign.
PK said that the protests going on in the country in the name of SIR are only a collective of those who lost the elections. Krishnadas blamed.
